When it comes to quick and easy weeknight pasta, we’ve got you covered. Our flavoured oils are snappy, fresh and work well on the days you want a bowl of creamy pasta to a plate of velvety, tomato pasta, making you feel virtuous.
This is a weeknight-friendly dish, that doesn’t need you to take out every pot in your kitchen, BUT it does give you the freshness from a sweet, citrus oil with great flavour and an even better aroma.
2 tablespoons Azada Olive Oil & Orange
350 grams tagliatelle or fettuccine
50 grams Serrano ham, thinly sliced prosciutto and torn into strips
120 ml double/cooking cream
Freshly ground black pepper
50 grams finely grated Parmesan
Zest of 1 orange
Sea salt and freshly milled black pepper
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook, stirring occasionally, until 1 minute before al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a small cup of the pasta water.
Meanwhile, heat Azada’s Olive Oil & Orange in a large heavy non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the Serrano ham and sauté until browned, about 1-2 minutes.
Add the reserved pasta water and cream and bring to a boil. Add the pasta, stirring until the sauce coats the pasta. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the cheese and orange zest, and serve hot.
