If you have a specific craving for something naughty then why not tuck into these creamy, sweet delicious oat balls. What’s more, it’s such a bonus when something so tasty is also good for you. They can be eaten at room temperature, hot or cold, making them great for lunch box treats or food on the run (literally).

Preparation time 15 minutes + overnight chill
Makes 24
Gluten-free | Vegetarian | Vegan

Ingredients:
  • 160 grams unsalted natural smooth peanut butter
  • 170 grams of maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Azada Olive Oil & Orange
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 225 grams whole rolled oats
  • 40 grams mini chocolate chips (dairy-free equivalent)
Preparation:

Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper and set it aside. In a medium bowl, stir together the peanut butter, maple syrup, Azada’s Olive Oil & Orange, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Add the oats and chocolate chips and stir until combined. Use a small cookie scoop to portion the mixture. Using your hands, roll the mixture into balls and place it on the baking sheet. Chill overnight to allow the cookies to firm up and enjoy!

Chef’s Tips

Why not add a dusting of cinnamon powder or mixed spice for a bit of extra flavour if you fancy a bit of warmth. Please note that we used toasted oats because we love the crunchy texture but if you like yours smooth, please use rolled oats.
